Millenia Nova is a German electronic duo from Munich consisting of Mathias Neuhauser and Michael Meinl. "Nice mysterious heavy Stuff" is their first full length album released in 1996.
The Super Grooversconsists of a core group of two super talented musicians Frank Villafranca playing tenor, alto and soprano saxophones and Andrew D. Gordon playing keyboards, guitar, bass, computer programming, creating modern jazz/funk/latin/blues tunes influenced from the 60’s & 70s with great grooves, catchy melodies and plenty of atmosphere.

Bebek are Lynn Michalopoulos - vocals; Nick Michalopoulos - keys; Frank Vasile - guitar; and Anthony Matthews from Philadelphia. Their music do sound like Massive Attack or Portishead but not always. They describe their music as " A polished soundscape of electronic psych.... with European experimentation and the American soul intact" which perhaps all they are saying is that they play music with various influences and cross genres. From Norway, the saxophone player, singer, songwriter and arranger, Helen Eriksen has made her marks when she worked with the Norwegian hip- hop producer Tommy Tee to release her debut album "Standard" in 1996. "Lovevirgin" is the folow up album and is a continuation of her work with Tommy Tee blending lite-jazz with hip hop and rap. Working still with Tommy Tee, in 2006 she released "Small Hall Classic" which in essence a further refinement from her previous releases and this time with more funky hip hop beats plus some acid overtones.
Crazy P is Chris Todd, Jim Baron, Danielle Moore, Tim Davies and Mat Klose an electronic/dance outfits from the UK. "The Wicked is Music" is their second outing with an infectuos blend of funk and house. Their latest album is "Stop Space Return " released in 2008.
Jason Farrall and Kenny Clarke are the masterminds of The Lithium Project . Many Worlds Theory is their second release mixing downtempo jazz funk with an infusion of acid and electronica.

'Two Thousand and Six', apart from being the first Heights record where everything is under their control, is their first since 'Humidity' (1993) and 'Electric Hush' (1994).
From Ishtar/Milano 2000 label Italy, a debut album from Fade Out Vision which surprised everyone with their intense soul and funk elements mix up with deep fender rhodes sounds, grooving basslines, and incredible vocals. Their track have appeared in some of the acid jazz/nu jazz compilation album such as the Milano Lounge 2008.
A well crafted compilation of rare bossa materials from Italy! the tracks all 20 of them mostly derived from a selection of 70's Italian film soundtracks; the compilation is very well selected despite some of the artists are not very well known (at least outside of Italy).
The second volume of the series and this time Schema's Gerardo Frisina served up and do the selection for all 16 tracks with even more flair than the 1st volume.
From Norway, Urban Visions always play their own music composed by the main man Bjørn Bolstad Skjelbred. "Urban Songs" is their debut release as a group. Satoshi Higuchi is Airbus a Japanese breakbeat, Nu Jazz outfit in the same vein with Kyoto Jazz Massive or Jazzanova. He is also active in Novo Tempo with DJ Shohei Mitani and Saigenji.
