Dalindèo - Open Scenes (2006)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Dalindèo is a Finnish sextet founded in 2003. With all original tracks composed by the guitarist Valtteri Pöyhönen they play mostly instrumental, club jazz-styled tunes that are heavy on the rhythms, There's a bit of a Brazilian flavor on some numbers, but all filtered through a straight ahead jazz sound that's heavy on 60s influences. Michiko, the Japanese vocalist who appeared as a guest, sings in 3 of the album's tracks - Empty fruits, Non Stop Flight and Tsunami. ww.dalindeo.com
