Gerardo Frisina - The Latin Kick (2005)

With his self-produced and arranged (along with Enzo Lo Greco) third album The Latin Kick, Gerardo Frisina demonstrates he knows how to play with modern jazz sounds (composed of rhythms devoted to dance) like nobody's business, and in the process pays homage to the classic Afro-Cuban and Brazilian sounds that have influenced his previous, highly acclaimed works namely Ad Lib and Hi-Note.
