Modaji - Modaji (2000)



A classic broken beat and soul albums. Modaji is the mystical moniker of Dominic Jacobson, the man, whose music is inspired by pure Jazz and Soul establishing himself as an eccentric NuJazz subversive, fusing Latin, Soul, Techno and House with an effortless and mature style. This eponymous debut album was his first long player and featured significant contribution from Bugz In The Attic maestro Kaidi Tatham plus vocalists Marcus Begg, Jagdeep, Melissa Brown and IC Brown.
