Don-Ray - Upaya (2006)

Don-Ray (a.k.a. Don-Ray, X-Ray, Maxelle, and 21Green) is the silent producer behind the likes of Lady Alma, Replife, and Deborah Jordan as well as the abstract remixer for Fertile Ground and Esthero among others. He’s produced for labels such as Sony, Guidance, Gotsoul, and Futuristica taking them to the next level with his neo-soul, nu-jazz, and future-funk productions. “Upaya” is his first full lentgh album featuring Lady Alma (4Hero, King Britt) and Navasha Daya (Fertile Ground) playing broken beat cuts mixed with reggae, jazz and soul.
